  • The Blue Mosque is an active place of worship, so modest dress is required. Women should cover head, shoulders, and knees. Scarves are available at the mosque if needed.

  • Shoes must be removed before entering. A plastic bag is provided to carry them during the visit.

  • The mosque may close to visitors during prayer times or special religious events.

  • Loud talking and flash photography are not allowed inside.

  • Children are welcome but must stay with an adult at all times.

  • The mosque is wheelchair accessible, but personal wheelchairs cannot enter the prayer hall. Visitors may use mosque-provided wheelchairs with staff assistance.
