It was a good experience. The guides walk you to the front of Topkapi and then you have your own time to explore. Just the google maps location to find the guides show a different fountain. It’s the one across from Hagia Sofia Entrance

The visit was OK. The guides were not necessary as they only showed us the way in and we wasted a lot of time just for waiting them and the other participants.

Your guide will be waiting for you in front of the Fountain of Sultan Ahmed III at least 15 minutes before the tour starts, holding a a white flag with the Istanbul Tourist Pass® and istanbul.com logos. From there, your guide will take you on a short 1-minute walk to the main entrance gate (Bab-ı Hümayun) of Topkapi Palace.

Your meeting point is in front of the Bereketzade Fountain, right next to the Galata Tower. Please meet your host there at least 15 minutes before your tour time. Your host will be holding a white flag with the Istanbul Tourist Pass® and istanbul.com logos for easy recognition.

  • The 25-language audio guide is prepared by Istanbul Tourist Pass and shared via ticket link; it is not available at the attractions.

  • Some areas of Topkapi Palace may be closed, including the Outer Treasury and parts of the palace kitchens; remaining sections stay open.

  • Security checks are mandatory at both attractions and cannot be skipped, even with skip-the-ticket-line access.

  • Hosted entry helps you avoid ticket queues but does not provide priority at security checkpoints.

  • Each attraction can be visited independently, and exploration time inside is flexible.
