Details of the Museum

Originally, a well-known bus station stood in the center of Topkapi, but now there is a lush park there. Topkapi City Park not only welcomes families and those seeking relaxation but also houses the Panorama Museum. The museum occupies a 3,000-square-meter area of the park. Hasim Vatandas, an artist and cartoon director, is the project coordinator and creator.

Initiated in 2005, this project involved eight artists who brought a significant historical event to life. Over the past three years, the museum has recreated one of history's most notable moments. The unique 360-degree panoramic view is what makes this museum stand out globally. Visitors view the panorama from a 14-meter platform to fully appreciate the 3D effect. Imitations of cannons, gun carriages, and powder kegs are placed in front of the panorama to recreate the feeling of the conquest as if it happened 555 years ago. Sound effects further enhance the sense of reality.
