Worth a visit despite renovations Très beau palais mais assez petit ce qui me ferait dire que le prix est un peu excessif même si le palais vaut le coup d’œil! Attention, actuellement la grande majorité de la façade est en rénovation!

It is a 19th century summer residence of Ottoman sultans on the Asian shore of the Bosphorus, famous for its marble facade, crystal chandeliers and peaceful seaside gardens.
You will find it in Uskudar, just below the first Bosphorus Bridge. Take a ferry to Uskudar or Kadikoy, then a short taxi or bus ride, or come by taxi directly from the European side via the bridge.
Plan around 60 to 90 minutes to see the main halls, the harem section and stroll the waterfront garden.
Handheld photos without flash are usually permitted in many areas, but staff may restrict shooting in certain rooms. Tripods and professional gear often need permission.
There are stairs and uneven surfaces in historic sections, so access is limited. Ask at the entrance for the most accessible route and assistance.
