I absolutely loved the whole experience! I took there my daughter for her birthday and it was just what we needed. We chose the Sultan Vip package. The foam massage is a unique experience. You have to try it. It is a cuddle that you will hardly forget. Then the oil massage is a relaxing and therapeutic experience. I could feel the ladri who did the massage was experienced. I highly advice Ottoman Turkish Bath at the Root Hotel. I just had a little inconvenient with the driver who picked us. But the gentlemen at the reception were able to salve the problem. And they took us back personally!
What a great experience at this SPA. The haman is downstairs in the hotel. There's a sauna, Turkish bath, haman room, swimming pool, and treatment rooms. We booked the comprehensive package for 4 people. We were picked up from our hotel and then warmly welcomed. Enjoy the sauna and Turkish bath, followed by the haman ritual with a mud wrap. That was an awesome experience! Then tea, juice, and water, followed by an extensive massage with foot reflexology, a hand scrub, and a face mask, all together for over 3 hours. And we were brought back to the hotel completely relaxed.
It was a very good experience, but I didn't give everything 5 stars (having taken the VIP Sultan package), so your description at the end says you leave with a luxurious souvenir gift of your trip; I showed this to the massage therapist who was also the front desk, and she looked at me with wide eyes of astonishment and said that they didn't do that either (that's a problem to be fixed internally, otherwise the final advertisement is misleading). Otherwise, the staff were very competent and the massage was very pleasant.
I had a great experience, everything was excellent from start to finish, and the staff made me feel comfortable and welcome. I chose the Ottoman Deluxe Package, and I definitely recommend it. The highlight for me was the foam massage, it was absolutely incredible. I honestly didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did, but it ended up being my favorite part of the experience. It was deeply relaxing, and unlike anything I'd tried before. I will definitely come back the next time I'm in Istanbul!

Once you arrive at the Ottoman Hammam, you will be greeted by the reception staff. You’ll be guided to your private changing area and locker.
You will spend some time relaxing in the warm marble room to prepare your body for cleansing. The steam helps open pores and softens the skin.
A professional attendant will provide a traditional body scrub and foam massage on the heated marble platform. This is the core part of the Turkish bath ritual and helps remove dead skin.
If your package includes it, an oil massage will follow. This part adds to your relaxation and helps with blood circulation.
After the treatment, you’ll have time to relax in the lounge with tea or water. You can take a shower, dry your hair, and enjoy the peaceful environment before leaving.
