The cistern is a wonderful place to visit in Istanbul. There were quite long queues, but with the Istanbul Tourist Pass we used during our 3 day stay, everything was much easier as we had priority.

Stunning and cinematic history Must see when in Istanbul. So beautiful,known as ‘The Sunken Palace’. There are over 300 columns and no two are alike. They also filmed movies here. James Bond ‘From Russia With Love’, Inferno, and International. It's also a great place to get out of the heat.
