A standard Turkish bath house from the 16th century. Go in and they will lead you through the process if you are not familiar with it. You can choose to do a self bath or have different oil levels. Self bath you go into and wash yourself before you lay done on the warm stone. Kind of like a sauna except rather then wood you are either setting or laying done on stone. Very relaxing. Shower afterwards.

One of the best treats in Istanbul, the Turkish Hamam! A combination of a sauna, body rub, foam bath and pealing scrub. And all of this in a building from 1584. An amazing experience almost like a journey back in time.

It was an intense and interesting bath and massage. The ladies were super nice, with strong hands and with a big smile

Wonderful unique experience, even a bit spiritual with traditional Turkish bath- Hammam. I can’t really explain in words. Everyone need to experience it when you come to Turkey.
