Suleymaniye Mosque is a huge imperial mosque complex that sits on one of Istanbul's seven hills, watching over the city. It was built by the famous Ottoman architect, Mimar Sinan, and is a true masterpiece. Built during the reign of Suleyman the Magnificent, it has four minarets to symbolise that Sultan Suleyman was the fourth sultan after Constantinople was conquered.
