Join us as we visit the third most sacred site in the world for Muslims after Mecca and Jerusalem, the Eyüp Sultan Mosque and Tomb. The Eyüp Sultan Mosque is Istanbul's oldest and most sacred mosque. It marks the place where the friend of Prophet Muhammad, Abu Ayyub al-Ansari, or Eyüp Ensari in Turkish, was buried. He was martyred outside the city walls during an Arab siege of Constantinople in the 7th century. Many Muslims visit the site every year.
We will then take the cable car to Pierre Loti Hill to enjoy a tea or coffee at the cafe and take in the stunning view of the Golden Horn.
Finally, we will visit Miniaturk which is a fun museum that displays mini models of all of the important and famous landmarks from around Turkey.
This tour is guaranteed to depart on Mondays and Thursdays. On other days, the tour requires a minimum of 6 people to depart. Please ask if pick-up is available for your hotel.
