We will meet in front of the famous Gulluoglu Baklava Shop in Karakoy which sells many delicious varieties of baklava and Turkish pastries. Then we'll enjoy a traditional Turkish breakfast at Ozsut. Remember, Turkish breakfasts are a lavish affair so make sure you're hungry! After breakfast, we'll take the ferry across the Bosphorus to Kadikoy on the Asian side of Istanbul. This area is the ancient city of Chalcedon where the Ecumenical Church Council met centuries ago to resolve doctrinal disputes.
