Crowded House Tours - based in Eceabat, the nearest town to the battlefields of 1915 - has long established itself at a leader in battlefield and historical tourism. However, despite our name, we do not just do tours: we do history. Our experienced guides lead you on a journey through the past, following the path of those who fought and died on this land some 100 years ago. Crowded House is the only tour company based on the Gallipoli Peninsula that focuses exclusively on providing services to overseas visitors. This focus gives us an advantage when shaping and developing tours for our guests, and has allowed us to build up a history of expertise in meeting the needs of visitors who join us for our tours. That expertise has helped us become the leading tour provider in the region, bringing more overseas guests to the battlefields of 1915 and to the ancient city of Troy than any other tour company. Our guides are among the most senior tour leaders on the peninsula, with many years of experience of introducing visitors to the history of the battlefields and telling the stories of the men and women who served in the campaign. It is not just our experience that makes a difference, but what we bring to our tours that make them unique. Our guides use reproductions of original and rarely seen photos from 1915 from a private collection to better tell the story of the campaign, giving our guests a greater understanding of the conditions the men and women involved in the conflict experienced. We also offer each of our guests an exclusive memento of their pilgrimage to the battlefields of the peninsula, a printed reproduction of a photo taken in 1915 as a reminder of your visit to the past.
I will just say one thing, i came from New Zealland.
Rather than tourists, the government people must visit these places. To see the living history and finish the wars in the world.
My husband likes so much to learn the history of wars. If he got money enough he purchases a tank to go to job. I dont say anything due to this is his one hobby. Not tank subject of course.
An area where has been fulled sadness. You see the people who do not care about their lives to protect their country. And young Anzac soldiers who do not know why they are here. In order to understand the value of country love the best place to visit.
I had local tastes at hotel breakfast. And got Ezine Cheese before we returned.
At least one night should be stayed there to have all the visits well.
If you wish to understand how much these Turks are crazy you will see there.
On one side you see the natural beauty of the see and on otherside you watch the sadness.
When we make our check in, there was somebody smoking in our next door. We asked to change our room and it is given a new room. Can from hotel assisted us so much. Every hotel should have a receptionist like Can.
While we were passing the Bosphorus by boat it was some cold. Troian Horse was so fascinating. Our hotel was comfortable. Could be some more clean. But the location was good.
