Galata is one of the most historic areas in Istanbul. The highlight of the area, Galata Tower is one of the highest and oldest tower in Istanbul. The tower is built in the 14th century by the Genoese colony. In this tour, we will be walking around the famous Galata Tower and have a chance to see churches, synagogues, hospitals, bank buildings, ancient walls, schools in that area. Our guide will be telling you stories, myths, and legends about the history of Galata.

In every guide Sultanhamet region called as Old City. But you know the old city s border reaches Galata? Mostly the residences of Genoese people. Also a lot of Jewellery shops which belong to Jewish society. As i see the wonderfulside of Pera area.

We passed also near Galata Tower but my favorite place was the Camondo stairs.
