Full Description

After being picked up from your hotel, you will be driven across the Bosphorus Bridge which connects the continents of Europe and Asia. The bridge is 1,074 metres long and, at the time of its construction, was the fourth-longest suspension bridge in the world. Our first stop will be Camlica Hill on the Asian side, the highest point in Istanbul. From here, you'll get an amazing panoramic view of the city with the Bosphorus flowing down the middle. You'll have time to take pictures and then we'll drive back to the European side for our next stop, Dolmabahce Palace.

With your guide, you'll explore Dolmabahce Palace, the final residence of the Ottoman Sultans and their families. The Palace was also the Istanbul residence of the first President of the Turkish Republic, Ataturk. Wander the halls, learn about the history and admire the beautiful architecture and furnishings. It even has the largest chandelier in the world hanging in the main hall!

We learnt lots of information from our guide about Dolmabahce Palace. A story which has a sad final with the founder of Turkey.

Naomi - June 26, 2019

I watched a short video which has been dated as 10th November. The young soldier was crying. I have been effected so much.
