  • Hagia Sophia Museum is closed for visits for half-day on the first days of Ramadan Festival and Sacrifice Festival.

How to get there?

Hagia Sophia Museum is located in Sultanahmet Square. The T1 Tram Line has a stop at Sultanahmet. If your hotel is situated in the old-town area, you can simply take the tram to Sultanahmet. Otherwise, you can take some other public transportation vehicle to connect with the T1 Tram Line (most common routes have connection with it) and continue to Sultanahmet.



Don’t age while waiting to enter this fabulous 1500 year-old building. Skip the long ticket queues and spend much of your time witnessing the former Greek Orthodox church.
