Veranda Pera

Description

Veranda Pera’s starting point in business is to change to classical tavern experience into a modern, contemporary tavern model. Located in the 3rdand 4thstores of a 200 years old building in Beyoglu, it holds a magnificent sightseeing availability of the Golden Horn and the Bosphorus. Veranda Pera is open every day except Sundays from 18.00 to 02.00 for your visit. They serve authentic Mediterranean cuisine and Anatolian cuisine with appetizers, salads, main dishes of meat, fish and vegetable. It aims to modernize the tavern experience by playing popular pop songs of the late 90s and 00s. Their contemporary decoration is a great example of what Istanbul’s culture and aesthetic turned into.

If you`d like to commune with mother nature, we recommend our princes’ island tourPrinces’ island takes its name by being the exile place of early Byzantine prince and princesses. There are total of 9 islands but only 4 of them are available to visit. It takes roughly 30 minutes to reach these series of islands and even though they are close to the city, it feels like you came to another world. There are nature parks of the government, where you can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the forest, lay down, watch the birds and enjoy the peaceful voices of wind calmly hitting leaves of trees, become one with the gentle movements of waves… Princes’ island offers so much for a nature enthusiast. The tour also includes a lunch at a local fish restaurant in one of the islands. Our guides will also accompany you throughout the trip to inform you about the history of the island, to answer any question that pops into your mind. After watching the sun beautifully set down over the city, we will return to city with a boat.

Jewish district of Istanbul tour is also a nice alternative to explore different textures of Istanbul. In this half-day tour, we will walk you through the colorful streets of Galata, Istanbul’s Jewish districts and inform you about Jewish community living in Istanbul and how their culture and Istanbul in general reciprocally shape the culture and living style. Jewish community has been living in parts of Istanbul for hundreds of years, and after Fatih the conqueror conquered Istanbul, he encouraged Jewish community to move here to repopulate and enrich the city. Most of these people settled near Galata, which is close to Golden Horn. This tour will allow you to take amazing pictures for you to put on social media and keep as memory. We will discover the Jewish synagogues, the Jewish museum, local Jewish houses and more in this tour, and our professional guides will narrate you the story of Abraham Kamondo and more.

Veranda Pera’s idea of creating a contemporary Turkish tavern culture succeeded and many guests from both Turkey and other countries enjoy this new and unique concept. It is an excellent way to spend a day out in Taksim, dance to popular Turkish songs and have tons of fun. Their top tier food and drink menu makes this experience even more joyful.
